Daily Newsflash- January 15th

(First off, apologies for only the one post yesterday. Full-time work over-ran and the posts due to be finished were not. DO NOT FEAR. There will be more tonight don’t you worry.)

Rondo shows quality- Rajon Rondo secures the victory for the Celtics with a triple-double (17 points, 10 rebounds, 10 assists) as Boston take their win streak to 6 with a 100-89 win against the Bobcats.

Kevin Durant is quality- KD scores 41 points as the Thunder beat the Phoenix Suns 102-90 as a 19 point 4th quarter from Durant puts the full-stop on the W.  One to watch- Look out for an explosive dunk on Marcin Gortat. Possible dunk of the year and a absolute posterizer.

Hawks/Magic lack quality- Chicago walk all over the Hawks winning by 38 points at the United center. The 2nd quarter saw Atlanta only put up 5, YES 5, points. Larry Drew was quoted saying ‘There will be changes” after the game, which will be more than expected with this embarassing defeat.

Magic lose by a margin to bottom of the East Wizards, showing that their roster lacks consistency, defence and a real leader. The Wizards saw 6 players score in double figures and 3 wins in a row gives their fans hope.
